This home was built in 1938 during the prosperous oil boom of the 20's and 30's in Ponca City. This home is a small, simple home (approximately 800 sq ft) but is located on a huge corner lot with large beautiful lawn. This neighborhood is just south of the Pioneer Technology Center and just north of the Grand Arts District. Ash Street is a main road in Ponca City, but this area is a quiet, residential area that will give you plenty of peace and quiet. This house is close to the Airport, which is home to the world renowned Mexican Resturant "Enrique's." It is centrally located and is no more than 15 minutes from all the major area attractions. It is also 45 minutes from Ree Drummond "Pioneer Women" Mercantile in Pawhuska.

This home has a spacious sun room with a large Storm cellar (8x10) is situated underneath. Just off of the sun room is the atrium patio, complete with a 5 burner stainless steel grill. As you enter into the bedroom area of the home, you will find many large storage cabinets. Within them, you will find games and puzzles that are time tested favorites that you are welcome to use. Extra bedding can be found in these cabinets as well as a pack-n-play and high chair. Since we do not allow for any towels or linens to leave the property, we provide within these cabinets some beach towels for you to borrow on excursions to the Lake Ponca or Kaw Lake beaches or to any of our local swimming pools or splash pads. The master bedroom is themed the “American Bedroom” with patriotic quilts and other décor. It is equipped with a luxurious king sized bed, smart TV, desk, chest of drawers, rocking chair, luggage carriage, and two night stands. One of the night stands contains a built in charging station with USB connectors. This bedroom has its own bathroom with a generously large built in shower and includes a hair dryer and 4 sets of towels. This bedroom has one closet for guest use and a lockable solid wood entry door. The second bedroom is the “yellow and blue bedroom”, with quilts and wall hangings that bring you warmth from inside to out. This bedroom will be open when the booking is for 3 or more guests. This room sports an extra comfortable queen size bed includes a night stand charging station to help you stay organized. The third bedroom is the “cream bedroom”, and it too has quilts and wall hangings for your enjoyment. This bedroom has a dresser and matching night stand and is just across the hall from the “blue bathroom”. The blue bathroom located on the bedroom hallway is an extra large bathroom with an oversize Jacuzzi Jetted bathtub for your relaxation and enjoyment. At the end of the bedroom hallway is the “Cowboy Suite”. The Cowboy Suite is available for bookings of 4 or more guests. The entry has a lockable solid wood door which leads to a foyer where you can continue into the bedroom or enter into a full bathroom. The cowboy suite has a comfortable king bed, smart TV, dresser, night stand and charging station, and a smart TV. The cowboy suite has access to the atrium patio and guest can take that route into the sun room and continue into the main home. This suite has 3 closets and as with all the bedroom closets, it contains a luggage carrier. The owners live on the same block in a neighboring home in view of the Casa and grounds. We are always available to resolve any issues and provide friendly information if requested. Prior to your arrival, you will be given your own personal passcode to the front door and instructions for entry. The Casa maintains an outside security camera on the front porch light for monitoring front door entry into the home for your security and protection. There is no other surveillance or recording equipment at the home. We are a family friendly community, and our home is just that.

UPDATED PHOTOS NOW COMPLETE! This house was recently remodeled in 2017! This house has a unique layout and has always reminded me of "the Burrow" from Harry Potter (Ron Weasley's house). It has gone through several additions over the years, which gives it that feel of being built in stages like the Weasley's house. There was also this strange sort of bedroom/office/den thing that we jokingly called the "Harry Potter room" because it was like a "cupboard under the stairs" (that room is now the library/office- originally it had this weird curtain to "wall it off" and make it a bedroom... we didn't feel that was the optimal use of the space). That room inspired me to decorate the house in a combo "Weasley"/Hogwarts theme and I hope it is as fun to stay in as it was for me to decorate. All the bedrooms are decorated for a different Harry Potter house, there's a "library", and then the Weasley's Kitchen/den/garden (complete with gnomes), and many other subtle touches! For the non-HP fan the house has a brand new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, bedrooms, flooring, electrical (pretty much the whole thing is new)! Plus, the house is walking distance to all major Stillwater amenities including OSU campus/sports facilities and downtown Stillwater!
